About Deaf Dementia Club

This is a peer support group for deaf people with dementia and for the carers of deaf people with dementia. Come and socialise in a nice, relaxed environment with refreshments and different activities each month. We meet on the third Monday of each month from 11:30 until 13:30.

Our venue is in the very lovely Clifton Village, Bristol which is easily accessible by bus, taxi or car (just remember to check parking meters for restrictions!)

We believe all deaf people with dementia and their carers need a safe space to talk, to participate in activities and above all to laugh and have some fun.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Is to create a safe and comfortable environment for deaf people with dementia and for the carers of dementia to talk freely, seek help and to enjoy each other's company and to eventually have a deaf dementia club local to where they live so that their social lives continue and bring a sense of wellbeing to all.

Our Vision

Is to provide any one affected by dementia a safe place to go and meet people in the same position, to share experiences, learn about available support and to participate in activities we can all enjoy.
